Ciao!

Tomorrow is the big day! I can't believe it. I'm so glad it's finally here though. I was thinking about it today and it really hit me that I'm not going to be going for a few weeks or a month but 3 MONTHS! Wow, that's a long time to be away from my friends and family who I love so much. I'm excited to see what learning experiences God has in store for me. The first lesson He showed me is I'm a ridiculous packer. Ha! One of my suitcases was 63 lbs when the limit is 50. Ooops. But what I want to tell these Delta people is that I'm not going for a week but a long time! So crossing my fingers they'll let me pass tomorrow.

Please pray for a safe flight tomorrow and I'm going to miss you all so much! Here's a few pictures of the people I'll miss the most :)

I can't believe I'm going to be overseas in less than 7 days! I haven't even begun to pack and I'm not really sure where to start, but hopefully that'll come to me within the next few days. I'll be sure to keep you updated!

Italians take their style very seriously. LOVE all of these looks. I'm hoping while I'm living there for the next 3 months I can pick up on their effortless style.

The countdown is on...

The official countdown is 25 DAYS. Wow, I never thought this day would come! It still doesn't feel like reality. I'm so excited about this new journey I am about to embark on. I'm excited to see what God has in store for me in 2010 :) It's already started out wonderfully! Just a little preview of where I'm staying in Italy, Chigi Palace.
